Bob Savino
Savino was first 'discovered' by the beat movement magazine, The Evergreen Review. Between stints as a former military MP, a fine arts museum security guard, or a facility caretaker, Savino has pursued by his poetic muse for over three decades. At certain crucial rites of passage, Divinity has addressed him as an autistic child, and outcast dog, an abused woman, a blinding vision or a great storm. His first collection of poems, Report From the Frontier, was released by Unholy Day Press in 2004. He remains, by choice, precariously balanced on a razor's edge, teetering somewhere between quotidian blessings and the chartless Unknown...and living in Kansas City, Missouri.
